Update
To All,
A funeral funeral service for Ham was held on Monday 2nd August at Cissbury Barns ( - https://cissbury.com - ) on the edge of Findon and close to where Ham lived at Storrington with a private cremation at Worthing Crematorium afterwards.
The location was ideal - tranquil, calm and in the middle of the country, actually within a national park. The celebrant was Father John McCormack, who, unknown to any of the attendees, knew Ham from years ago when he was Chaplain at St. Barnabas’s Hospice. When Ham’s friend Tom was very ill, he spent a few weeks there. Father John conducted a wonderfully uplifting and celebratory service, and was clearly as moved as those gathered were.
Emotional as it was to those in attendence , it couldn’t have have gone better than it did.
Hamish would have approved
Sincerely
Jamie
