Probably one thing that should be said in all of this, you do you. If you like it and wear it with confidence, no one else's opinion really matters.

If you are looking for a hip-pouch design with a more convenient closure, and you haven't yet, check out Etsy. There are a good many cool designs with snaps, straps, buttons, magnets, and more.

Ha, the Prince Albert bit did not escape me, but I'm not sure it's that much more suggestive than many traditional sporrans. I mean, many hair and fur sporrans look like bushy pubes but no one lifts an eyebrow.

The one thing that gave me pause was the point about the zipper. I would much prefer a different closure system.
