Diamond Twill
Has anyone seen or made a kilt in diamond Twill? I found a source for some that seems like a fair price and have been thinking about that as a possible option for my next project. Not too sure about the behaviour of the weave though, having never seen diamond Twill in person.

It's not as strong as a 2/2 twill which is why tartan (and denim) are traditionallly woven in a 2/2 twill.

Thank you for the reply.
I figured it might be a situation like that. I may still order a sample and see if it would work for a waistcoat, or possibly for one of the other non kilt related projects I have planned.

I've never even heard of diamond twill before. Interesting.
