Slainte - it's National Tartan Day (USA) April 6, 2022-

It's National Tartan Day in the USA (and elsewhere).

I'll be wearing either my MacMillan kilt (if I can fit into t after my recent weight loss) or my Heritage of Scotland.

I'm planning on shopping at Costco this afternoon so that should be fun .

    Go - kilt up!

    Kilted up for work today!

Being an old stress guy at an airplane company, things get a bit mundane at times...so as my new kilt arrived last week, and I figured out how things kind of go together with the help of my missus, I donned one of my tailor made white shirts with a light airplane print (my daughter is a tailor for the film and TV industry)... then kilterd up for the workday... I was the first one in my cube farm... about 1/2 hour later the other folks started showing up. I was working away, and about another 1/2 hour, someone noticed, and asked why I was wearing a dress... (just a smart posterior comment) and I politely said no it is a kilt... and that it is National Tartan day...

More folks noticed when I got out of my chair to help some of the young engineers in the office. Comments were quite positive... especially after I picked up scones to share from a local bakery to celebrate the day!

After work I hurried off to meet my wife for an art event opening, still kilted.... a few asked why I was wearing it, and I told them it is National Tartan day!

Hope you all had a wonderful tartan day!
