    Bretagne Brooches as kilt pins

    I have been searching the internet for a while looking for "unique" brooches and pins to tie into my Bretagne heritage... after a bit of searching, I found these... no military significance, just decorative...

    Thought they would look good on my Knights Breton Belted Plaid.

    If you like them, then wear them. They would not be my choice though. I prefer the silver “safety pin”style. Your tartan should be enough of a connection for one garment.

    If it came down to a choice between the three, I think the middle one would look best on the Knights Breton tartan. But, then again.. green goes well with red.. just ask the MacGregors

    As an engineer... there are 8 colors in the box of crayola in kindergarten...
    I figure if the colors grow together side by side on the same plant in nature, who am I to argue! They go together!

    I did wear the middle one tonight on the debut of the belted plaid....
