What's the talk on the Gathering in Vancouver B.C.?

The word on the street is that the gathering is short by one new england scot.

Why not? Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in North America and people are friendly. It is a very kilt friendly city and it is not unusual to spot kilted men on the streets of Vancouver.

Also this event is politically driven and we are just a bunch of kilted guys want to get together to have a good time and party!! How often do people organise a festival for the kilted? There will be daily kilted outting, pub crawl/kilts night, Gala Dinner/fashion show/charity aution, Festival in the Park/kilted market/mini highland game and to meet kilted guys from all over the world.

Now tell me, do you have a reason not to come?
