    One always needs another project!

    I have a brass cantle that I picked up months ago, I've got to get round to making the bag for it.

    Anyhow here's an L&M Highland Outfitters plain black Day sporran for $16

    I don't know the maker offhand but it certainly appears to be a high-quality sporran, musquash, nice "G" cantle (perhaps silver plated) under $50, here in the USA.

    EDIT: I'm pretty sure it's WE Scott.

    and it sold for $16 (plus tax and shipping). Hardly makes it worthwhile for me to spend the time making my own design.

    the Wichita Caledonian sporrans have a "Made in Scotland" sticker with a thistle on the back. The tab for the strap has a long isosceles triangular point at the bottom.

    does that make it a W E Scott?
