Is there a customary tune used for this at a Burns Night celebration?

Is it appropriate to end a Burns Night Celebration with Auld Lang Syne?

OC Richard, if you read this, do you have any recommendations for a Las Vegas piper who might be willing to play? What would be an appriopriate stipend if the gathering draws 25-40 people? Besides those two tunes, would you suggest any others?

I'm guessing we'd get our Haggis from The Scottish Gourmet.

The traditional tune most commonly played for piping in the haggis is A Man's a Man for a' That.

Rabbie wrote Auld Lang Syne, so it’s entirely appropriate for Burns Supper. I actually can’t remember ever attending a Burns Supper that didn’t end with a group rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
