Ditto, my wife had Irish nuns (ironically called The Sisters Of Mercy) from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Interestingly though raised in California she had never heard of such a thing as a non-Irish nun or priest until she started High School, due to that Catholic High School having ONE non-Irish priest (the rest of the staff entirely Irish).
I, on the other hand, being from West Virginia, grew up knowing only two species of human beings: Methodists and Baptists.
