36 and wearing my kilt whenever I can find the remotest excuse, but not full-time.
Good question to ask as I had often wondered how many people nearer my own age also like them. - Very reassuring to know that

Oh dear-this makes me feel very old-older than that even!
Age 69 and I've ben wearing the kilt since my parents put me in one in 'infancy'.
This I think at once puts me across the grain of the thinking of many: for I feel no need to prove anything-rather to me the kilt is a sensible way of dressing, but not of necessity for every day-it depends on mood, activity and so on.
It also put me across those who claim to wear it in the traditional way-for I can recall parents regarding drawers as essential for their offspring; and when tailors as a matter of course provided maching same material 'shorts' for wear under the kilt. Even the military as I've mentioned before did not adhere to the 'rules' as strictly as some might think. However-who cares, it is a personal thing: and of really no interest.
Such a background also means that I do not see eye to eye with those who claim to be able to wear any tartan of their choice: for to me the clan system and the importance of a named tartan has a real meaning.
Probably I've now annoyed everyone-a rare skill.

If you as old as you FEEL then I'm 28 (wife’age)!
In actual years I'm 39.
I've been wearing kilts for 10 years.

I be 60.
Have wanted kilts since youth, just never a high priority. Saw my first UK a year ago. Ordered my first UK last summer.
Now own 20 kilts and wear them often.
#21 is an RKilts saffron leather in the works now.
'tis a grand addiction for an old fart....

I'm 38, going on 28.. I have one Stillwater, and one self-made kilt (so close to being finished). I have always wanted one since I can remember... I still haven't worn one out yet (Athens, GA is a weird little town), but am getting up the gusto.... I wear the stillwater around the house quite a bit - it was very liberating the first time I went out on a Sunday morning to fetch the paper in the kilt.
I hope to get an OK to wear one to work on Tartan Day, I figure wearing one on that day would soften the experience for my fellow federal employees....
