Wondering
Hell-o all,
I have been sitting here reading everyone's comments and the like and I started wondering what if any kilt you are wearing at this time? And if you have yet to have a kilt what are you "drooling" over? If your situation prevents you from wearing one at the moment you read this, what was the last kilt you wore?
I am sitting here in my Maple Leaf from Bear.

I'm not wearing a kilt right now, but I pressed my MacGregor, this morning and I will be sporting it to dinner and a move, with my wife, tonight.
Winter has reduced my kilt wearing.

kilt...
I will be wearing my Cumming Hunting/Buchan District (Ancient Colours) tomorrow evening at a "stag" Burns Supper in St. Louis.
I'm "drooling" for an Argyll District tartan kilt from either Hector Russell, Kinloch Anderson or Kathy Lare, but the County Mayo Tartan or a Saffron also is a possibility...
Cheers,
Todd

I have no idea what the tartan is that I'm wearing, but it's pretty. Just kidding. I'm sitting here (and taking a break from billing) in a Hunting MacLeod casual.

Before this one, I wore my Cape Breton BearKilt last night to an AOH meeting.

Anyone that owns one of Bear's Maple Leaf tartan kilts MUST be a man of quality and character... or atleast a character.

None yet, but I'm looking at four options for my first.
Looking at a custom two-tone PK, a Freedom, a UK, and came across a used 160z trad.

Drooling over a 16oz Ancient Watson traditional kilt, and a Ancient or Weathered MacKenzie 16 oz traditional. Also drooling over an 8 yard Hunting Stewart in PV.
Wore my Black Watch 4 yard yesterday.

As I sit here I am wearing a vintage heavy weight MacGregor kilt, approx. 75-80 years old. You can see me wearing this in my gallery.
It's one of six I own currently. Right now I'm waiting on the arrival of a four yard box pleated kilt in the Mull district tartan that a good friend of mine wove for me (you can see that tartan in the top banner of my albanach.org site).
And, I'm also in the process of making my first kilt (that I have made myself, not the first kilt I have owned, obviously) in the MacQuarrie tartan, 1815 variant, as woven by House of Edgar. I should be finished with that next week (have my final "lesson" on Tuesday). So it's a race to see which new kilt I get to wear next.
Other kilts I own... a four yard blue tweed "Casual Kilt" from Lochcarron. A four yard ancient Armstrong "casual kilt" from Locharron. A four yard box pleat weathered MacQuarrie kilt that the same woman who is making my Mull kilt made for me to get married in. And an 8 yard Scottish National modern. Oh, and an 8 yard modern MacQuarrie (almost forgot!)
I've had other various kilts in the past, including some solid colors, but this is what is in my closet now.
I'm not counting a couple of feilidh-mhors I own.
Aye,
Matt

I just got back from my Chiropractor and a bit a grocery shopping. I was wearing my Ranger Khaki Utilikilt, but I just changed into sweat pants and a t-shirt which is what I typically wear when lounging around at home.
