Great Day
Today I managed to pick up a really nice welsh kilt pin in a sale in a welsh tourist shop. It hasn't come out to good in the pictures but its gold colour and has a red stone in the top

Just a thought while I'm here ... with the exception of all those who already do .. giving the chance/opportunity, how many would wear their kilts full time. Just be interesting to know.

Hi Derek
Nice pin.
I think my answer would be 'more than I do now, but not full time'.
Wearing my kilt is great fun, and the comfort and look are great, but it's not the only thing I like in my wardrobe. I'm not one for giving up bifurbs completely. I like to have a choice according to what I'm doing and the mood I'm in.
That said, I would like to see more and more kilts on guys in my area. You hardly see any outside of weddings and Scottish events.
With a thumbs up to Ian Robinson, a local radio presenter, who has the only utilikilt in my area that I've seen. Well done that man.

Hi Derek,
That certainly is a great looking kilt pin.
By the way, did you receive the E-Mail I sent you on the 17th?
Cheers,
Rob

I agree with Al on this one.
I love wearing my kilt and wish the kilt was more readily used as an everyday item of male clothing, but I wouldn't want to wear it exclusively. Trousers are more practical for some purposes.
I'm more of a weekend kilt-wearer, and even then, rarely venture out in public as I can't help feeling a little self-conscious.
I admire you for wearing yours as much as you do Derek, and I think your kilt pin is fabulous!

I go unkilted when sleeping or showering. I'm working on going 100%.

Interesting question Derek...hmmmm
Obviously, wouldn't want to wear a kilt after arriving at a nudist resort...
Here in the high desert/canyonlands think there's a time in mid summer when lightweight shorts are best for public wear...with, gasp, pants in really cold nasty conditions.
Out here in the boonies, wind blown sand and dust are the order of the day. When I think about wearing kilts full time its contemporary kilts with wool kilts only for formal/fancy/special occasions.
I don't think a decent kilt could be made out of the fabric that Columbia makes their nylon fishing shirts and river shorts out of...same stuff Macabi uses for their river skirts...when I pull my Macabi river skirt up to kilt length there's something about the fabric that makes it too "skirty" looking.
Would like to wear kilts almost full time...didn't buy all of the ones I have now to hang them in my closet and stare at the wistfully...

Great looking pin, Derek!
As much as I love wearing my kilts, there's no way I could ever go to being a full-time kilt wearer. Kilts and motorcycles are not the best combination, and I would never give up my bike.

Derek,
What a great looking pin! I am sure you will wear it with pride.
Now for your next question, kilted as much as possible, except for when I am exercising, (the gym somehow takes a dim view of being kilted while working out).
