    Seeking Mocker Feedback

I was never impressed with the Utilikilts Mocker on their website, but had a good deal on a nice used one. Just field tested it and have come to really like it.

Now, I'm considering ordering a couple more with the goal of wearing them to work in lieu of slacks. They seem less distracting than tartan kilts or kilts with cargo pockets for wearing in an office type setting.

Anyone have any experience wearing a Mocker to work in an office environment.

    Appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks,

    Ron

That was my thought exactly when I first saw the mocker. It was low profile and still afforded you the comfort. Unfortunately I can't offer any experienced opinion

When I tried the mocker on, I loved it. The only thing that has kept me from getting one yet, is that I've purchased a survival kilt and a wool 8 yard in the past 2 months, so my wife is kind of trying to curb me for a bit... So in time...

But to answer your question, I love mocker, it's on my (very long) list of kilts for the future.

    Thanks George,

Went ahead and called UK HQ yesterday and by the time I was done Otto was chopping a navy mocker for me and putting me in line for a tan mocker. So that'll be three.

Wore my tan original to work today, had to sit in training for six hours then group for two more. Only comments were a compliment ("That looks cool") from a lady and some teasing from my supervisor. First he asked if it were some sort of a Celtic holiday (my past "reasons") told him no, just for comfort. Then later he was teasing by whispering in another therapist's ear and pointing at me...but in good fun. There was an agency board meeting tonight and I was around the CEO and board members kilted with nary a comment.

Kilted again tomorrow for another long training to sit through.

    So far, so good.

I've worn my olive mocker to the office a few times. Only negative comment was from one guy about being a man. I just politely asked him who he thought was hung heavier, me for wearing a kilt or him for making such a comment. He decided that he had business elsewhere.

It looked rather nice with a white oxford cloth and a tie. The ladies were very impressed and requested I wear it more often.

    Rob,

Are you gonna wear that utilikilt to Arkansas in April, or is Kid Cossack going to be the only Kilted Sixgunner there?

    Ron,

After first seeing this thread, I made contact with a friend who has a mocker and asked him what he thought. Said it is wonderful, and no one has ever said anything negative about it, but his presence is rather ominous.

Since this the best I can offer I hope it helps.
