Scottish Lion closing
I just received an e-mail from The Scottish Lion announcing that they are closing their doors on June 1. All in-stock items are on sale, and any custom orders that have already been placed will be filled. This is weird because I did get an e-mail a few weeks ago saying they were moving. Now I get an e-mail saying they are flat out closing.

There are some real deals there. I'm sure I'm not the only one on their site...

I just ordered a Sheriffmuir jacket for only $200 some, some cookbooks about $10 a piece, Edinburgh 2002 and 2003 Tattoo videos about $30 a piece, and a Wicked Tinker CD for $9. I really wanted the Montrose but only size 50 they had was 50R, and I wear a 50L. The Sheriffmuir was available in 50L. They have a couple of Montroses and Sheriffmuirs left. I did see a couple of casual kilts on sale for a 34 waist, plus some ladies tartans skirts for those of us with a better half.

This is kind of stupid of me, but I have no idea what the S, R and L relates to in actual sleeve length, etc.
How do you know if you are 46R or 46L?

Most mens shops will be able to measure you. I don't know if you have Nordstrom's in Athens, but they have been awefully kind about giving me measurments w/out purchase in the past.

As Geoduck said you have to find that out from a men's shop. I know my size, even though it has been years since I have bought a suit, because I looked into one of my old suit jackets and it said long. I bought both my Prince Charlie and Argyll in long. I also knew I was a long before getting measured because I am 6'4" and 320lbs, and I usually have to get the largest size available to get anything to fit.
