In Western cultures, generally speaking, the bride is the showpiece. The groom ought not do anything that upstages her (or he will pay dearly ever after). That said, a sensitive man such as youself would do very well indeed to wear something that compliments his bride's gown. I have racked my brain, consulted my library, poked around the web, and have come up short of ideas. Except: A few years ago a Hollywood costumer was selling the kilts from the original production of Brigadoon and they had one I was interested in. The particular tartan is not relevant, but what is relevant is that it had a silver stripe worked in by the costumer. Perhaps you could settle on any of a number of tartans that would support a pink line and have one worked in by someone competent to do it.
