    Storing flashes

So, for those that wear flashes, how do you store them? I'm trying to fgigure out the best way to keep my 3 pairs stored when not in use, so that they don't get wrinkled, etc.

My wool tartan flashes I loop over the neck of the goose neck of the kilt hanger. I've also hung them on a tie rack. The grosgrain flashes can be stored inside my brogues. The grosgrain material doesn't seem to crease or wrinkle no matter what I do to it so they can be thrown into a drawer without affecting them. When travelling, I keep them inside the socks or in the bottom of the garment bag.

    cheers,

Sock drawer... Where else? :-) That's where I keep mine when I'm not using them, that is... Which seems to be rare, since I'm usually kilted.

I have a dedicated drawer for them in a three-tier plastic drawer unit in the bottom of my wardrobe. In recent years, I seem to have amassed fourteen pairs of flashes/garters and I currently store them flat, three pairs to a layer, in the drawer. Each layer is separated by a sheet of cardboard. This stops them becoming entangled.

    I'm nowhere near that complicated...

I just put them, top down into my sporran, it seems to be the right size if you put them ontop of one antother, then the sporran just hangs in the closet...
