My gaeligs very rusty but hes referring to the twisted mouthed men "Caimbeulach" -the campbells !! infamous for the Highland clearences that decimated the highland way of life and clan structures !
I would consider the Duke & Dutchess of Sutherland and their lackey Patrick Sellar far more responsible for the clearances than the Campbells.
