I was always one to be drawn to dark colours. I loved black and wore it often. I also loved dark blues. I still do, and to be fair, I look good in them. I get told so often.

However, I'm always challenged by my brother, who is an opposite. He creates his own styles and loves to be more outrageous. Now, I'll never be like him, nor do I aim to be, but more and more I challenge myself to wear brighter things and more daring patterns.

It's hard to do, but with steps in the right direction, I find that breaking out of the mentality is very similar to breaking out fo the mentality that I have to wear pants - and what will people thing of me.

I'm not talking about wearing Canary yellow shirts, big sun glasses or hawaian pattern by the way. I started by just brighter version of colours I suited. I also found white and red was a good combination, and an easy in-road for me was English football shirts.
