New Picture Up
Well, I'll be honest, the picture isn't really new. It's several months old, but it's about time I got a decent picture up.

Hi Dylan,
You certainly look fantastic in that kilt.
However, could I give you one bit of advice? It looks as though your sporran chain passes underneath your belt at the rear. This will cause it to rub against your kilt when you walk around and cause bad wear of the wool fabric over a period of time. I assume that the chain is fixed to a strap. This should not be worn under the belt, but below it. There is no need for it to pass through the belt loops. Hamish has told of some particularly nasty cases of damage to kilts caused by prolonged wearing of sporran chains. If I were you, I would reserve the chain for special occasions, and wear a leather sporran strap for everyday wear. Most kilt makers sell them, and they are not expensive, but a strap will certainly save that fine kilt from damage due to chain rubbing.
Regards,
Rob
