Kilt fuzz
Im facing a little problem with my kilt. I have some fuzz around the area where the sporran sits. Im thinking its from the rubbing of one against the other. Is this normal? Or is it maybe the material?(100%acrylic) Any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S. any suggestions as to how to get rid of it?

You can get a "shaver". They're for removing the fuzz from sweaters and they work pretty well.

A quick solution is duct tape. Press it on well and rip it off quick.
Actually, I thought this thread was going to be about the tartan police!

Navy dress blues were famous for getting fuzz balls, especially when they were washed onboard ship. No dry cleaning plants on ships in those days. Gentle and very careful use of a safety razor was the solution. I would guess that with today's multi-bladed safety razors it would be much easier.

My electric razor has a "beard trimmer" which is pretty much the same thing as a barbers electric trimmer. I used that on my Stillwater and it worked like a charm.

Never thought of that! I will have to try that!
