I was on a business trip this week. Since there is no plane service and its only a few hours by car, people drove to the destination in their own cars.
As I was driving, coffee had its expected effect and I had to take a health break. As I was returning to my car, one of the managers drove up and got out of his car. He said "Hello" and walked on. I was wearing a black Freedom Kilt. If he noticed anything, he never said a word.
Later that day, I was talking to another guy I was working with. I told him I was thinking about going to a local Irish Pub and listening to the music. I added that that I would probably dress for the occasion. He asked what that meant. I told him I would be wearing a kilt. He just said "OK."
So subject of my wearing a kilt is out in the open. I also should have stopped any rumours that I was seen wearing a "skirt"
So I guess my new motto is "Out of the closet and into the kilts!"![]()
