    Bear Tradition vs Bear PV

It is time to start dreaming again...

    Bear (or anyone),

Are the Bear Traditions (made by Patty I guess) traditional in that they sit high on the waist or low like a Bear PV?

I think I'd like a high end wool kilt, but I really like kilts that rest in the same position that a pair of jeans would (don't worry, I haven't worn a pair in over a year!).

Anyone tell me about Bear's Traditionals? Is the wait really only 4-6 weeks?

I know i could email or call Bear directly, but I figured maybe a few of us had a similar question and we can all get the answer at the same time...

    thanks.

I'm ordering a Bear traditional cut in PV, 4 yard (maybe 8, I might change my mind) Macnaughton. Get ready to Jones for 5-6 months!

    Atticus,
The Traditional Cut can be made without a rise, so it will sit at the navel. To get one that sits lower than that, you'd have to go with a Classic Cut, which sits like pants.
Patty has asked me to revise the time to 6-8 weeks. (One more thing I can't seem to get to.)
I should have pics of my Traditional Cut Celtic Pride on my site soon.

    Alan,
I think you might mean a Formal Cut or a Classic Cut?
The Traditional Cut is only available in 8 yard kilts.
