    Tie Dyed Hose

Brainstorming last night when I was vititing Bear's on-line shop, I noticed that he offered white, but not cream colored hose.

One of the many pieces of knowledge I've picked up around here is that white hose are a sure fire indicator of who doesn't know what they're wearing.

Back to the original point. My wife loves to tie dye most anything. I came into the relationship with a few pairs of white boxers that are now various shades of blue and green. She even dyed a few pairs of briefs for my dad last father's day. Is there anyone here that would think that this just looked too crazy? or would it be a fun spin on the traditional look. I'm thinking more along the lines of modern variations, rather than the more traditional tartans.

    Just a thought.

My own feeling is that white or off-white hose, especially the cable-knitted hose, is an acceptable alternative to tartan hose for formal wear. I don't think that white hose should only be for pipe bands.
Am I too rigid in my thinking?

Yes I mean something like that! Doh!

Oh well, so much for original ideas.

I would still like to see what she might come up with though.
