Wonder why? I get more comments on the web deals on the pocket flaps than anything else about my second generation tan survival...

I haven't found anything to use them for yet, but they look jaunty and go well with the spirit of the kilt.

Hope the Basil survival on order arrives with them...????

Yep. The loops are what I mean. Got it straight from Otto. I called to let him know about the missing loops, just for QA purposes, and asked if they could send me the webbing and I'd put it on myself. Otto popped it in the mail but I was surprised to see it was just the same cloth as the rest of the kilt was made of. I had been holding out on canibalizing my ammo bags but I think it will look better than the cloth loops.

Man that sucks. I liked the loops a lot. After all "he who dies with the most crap cliped to their belt/kilt wins"

Here's a link to what the pouch and webbing look like if anyone is curious.

What I've thought might be nice, especially for those of us kilted photogs who still shoot film, would be if the loops were elastic. Could easily get 4 rolls on each pocket flap... Hmmm, I might have to have my survival modified in that manner, especially since the only thing I've found the normal non-elastic loops useful for, is somewhere to slide my fingers into when I feel like being fidgety...
