I didn't see anything objectionable in The Breakup.

Yeah, I hadn't seem it in a long time, and thought there was more oblique references to body parts than there are....still, I can see some puritan type getting offended by the "wasn't enough room for us"

Then again, maybe it is oblique enough. TV has gotten edgy over the past thirty years; maybe that's tame? I don't know, I stopped watching years ago.

I liked seeing a guy work with tools and ladder in a kilt, but my wife thought it was in poor taste.

BTW since this is my thread.....I'm happy for it to go off topic, or where ever, this is interesting.

As ever creeping in on the chat late-I'd say congratulations Graham.

For I'd suggest that one of the real indications of being a genuine kilt wearer-is knowing when not to wear one: be that of activity or occasion.

For it shows that one is not some sort of eccentric so desperate to wear a kilt that other considerations are ignored. Rather that a mature approach is being adopted: an approach that in the long run will enhance the acceptability of the kilt within the wider society in which we all live.

    So well done.

    James

We can get lots of money if we turn Graham in as a living speciment. :P

lol yes, but then we'd have to register him with the government as a protected species, and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Grahams would be very upset at us and want him to run free!
