You could have put it into your checked luggage with no problem. Trouble only comes when someone stuffs it in their carry-on luggage.
Don't know how much problem it would have been in Las Vegas. Should have been alright in the chapel anyway.

Of course, this the coolest item item in the Cold Steel catalog- a DVD on how to use a sarong as a weapon.

Exactly. A tube sarong is a great tool for locking, choking and throwing. I was at a seminar learning Indonesian martial arts and saw a great demo with the instructor using his sarong to do all sorts of nasty stuff to his attacker. He even showed how you can put a rock inside the sarong and use it as a whip.
He also showed how they would wear one tube sarong around the waist and use another one over one shoulder as a sling to carry stuff, it looked just like a great kilt!

They are replacing it with a folder called the Caledonian Edge and the price is $349.99. http://www.coldsteel.com/60ce.html
No place for that blade in my collection.
If I wanted to pay that much, I'd have my friend BJ Snow of TipiKnifeworks make me a full custom knife. http://gallery.tipikw.com/
