    That's because he was stupid...

We Douglasses are seldom taken alive. We always go down with one hell of a fight and leave behind one hell of a repair bill!

BTW, you just can't get Douglas out of the curtains with club soda. It simply doesn't work.

    I picked this up at www.ironoutlaw.com -

His Honour (Sir Redmond Barry) then sentenced the prisoner to death in the usual form (hanging), ending with the words, “May the Lord have mercy on your soul.”
The prisoner (Ned Kelly): “I will go a little further than that, and say I will see you there when I go.”

Sorry to get off topic, thought that was kinda cool...very interesting site.

After posting that comment, I checked on line to see that I'd confused Ned Kelly with another Bush Ranger, but for the life of me I can't remember his name. I read a book on early Australian outlaws a few months ago, and now I can't find the book (a definite danger when you have several thousand uncatalogued books around the house).

IIRC, the outlaw I'm thinking of had a similar start to Kelly, a less than legal attempt to arrest his brother lead to a fight and flight.

I'll eventually remember the name or find the book.

Another member of Leather RKilt Buyer's Anonymous...a gutter leather kilt addict.

Evil Robert did me a huge favor by cranking out a couple sporran belts when I was in need. He slipped in some leather samples and I became instantly hooked on the saffron (I changed the name to buckskin for improved masculinity)...

There was no peace, no rest, until...gasp, the order was placed...the money spent...

But dang folks, it is a fine piece of work....busy pondering which color is next to feed my leather kilt addiction....

Have pics from this weekend dancing in it, but think the galleries are still down and this new system doesn't allow me to do attachments....so, when the galleries are up will post the pics of the saffron/buckskin in action.

And no, I'm in Arizona (dry heat) and don't notice it being too hot for the leather RKilt.

Remember, she who must be obeyed may be turned on by the look of her man in a fine leather kilt....
