Kilted Commando
RE my post here something else came to mind. Since wearing a kilt I've very much enjoyed the comfort and the lack of pain and pinching. Owing to work and other things I still have to wear pants at times and having pondered the whole thing, it occurred to me if the underwear causes a lot of the problem, why not just quit wearing it when wearing pants too?
Well, I thought I'd give it a go. I'd tried it before but it felt weird, however, having had the experience with a kilt, losing underwear whilst wearing pants has been nothing but comfortable - at least as far as pants go.
Just curious if wearing a kilt has lead anyone else to try going the commando way?

No.
Two words: pecker tracks.
For me, pants are mostly the problem, anyway. Underwear or no, the inseam still pulls in viciously. Worrying about underwear when you're wearing pants is like taking a beer chaser after drinking a glass of rum.

I tried it once...
a note to anyone who does, be very careful with your zipper.

LOLOL! Love the rum and beer analogy.
I'm an oddball on this board (like you all couldn't tell?) because I still wear pants a lot and I like 'em just fine. I mean, I wore them for 47 years without any problem, no reason I can't keep wearing them when I feel like it.
I also just happen to like kilts just fine, too.
And yeah, I do the "commando" thing now and again when I'm out of grundies 'cause I haven't done my laundry. Heck, I went commando in a pair of longish shorts all day yesterday. It's no biggie.

Ooh, too much information there.
I see where you're coming from about trousers. I, too, was "fine" with trousers for 33 years, but only because I didn't think there was a viable alternative. Now there is, and the boys are all the happier for it.

No, I couldn’t say that. Since my boyhood I have practically never used underwear when in shorts. I always had a strong need for freedom and comfort.
I didn't see any reason to change things because of wearing a kilt.
