I have to agree with the majority here Derek, a plain tie would be much better. Hamish is right (as ever) about the jacket too, a more formal style would be more appropriate.

Having said that, I, like Hamish, am not familiar with Welsh balls, but presume they are similar to our English ones. However, I don't see what that has to do with your jacket!
