That's interesting, I did't know that, but "water of life" is a term used for whisky (not beer).

Come to Xmarks for an education eh!

    Derek,

Your wife is lovely, and the lasses are pretty, but Charlie is adorable.

I'm no great fan of Labrador Retrievers, but I'm not immune to the charm and intelligence that are plainly visible in the photos. I'm betting he will make someone a perfect companion.

    Labs...

Great piccies, Derek, especially of Charlie! He reminds me of our black lab, Colt, who was stolen from us back in 2002. I miss that blockhead...and he really is a "Blockhead" Lab!

I'm no great fan of Labrador Retrievers...
I'll try not to hold that against you, Doc.

    Thanks Todd.

Down here, seems like every other dog you see is a Lab or Lab-cross. Must be mighty powerful genes.

I've had some unfortunate run-ins with some incredibly stupid Labs, admittedly not breed typical dogs, and that has not endeared the breed to me. And I tend to be attracted to out of the ordinary things. My favorite breed is the Great Pyrnees. I now have my second of that breed. She will probably be the last giant breed dog I own, unless I come across and Irish Wolfhound or black Great Dane pup who steals my heart.
