I forgot to mention that at the church convention I came for, I was surprised how many people wanted to take my photograph - just because of the kilt.
Glen, it was great having you pop in, it meant that there were TWO kilted men there instead on one.
Several people asked about you afterward, you made a fine impression.

Graham,
I made an impression??????????I went back to the Festival today (Sunday) and Frank from Thistle And Shamrock asked where you were? Let alone my friend Linda from Celtic Celebration wanted to talk some more with you. Not even going to tell you about your friend from the Melbourne Pipe Band.
I am now able to walk back into the coffee shop without someone saying where's my friend from Australia, but a lot of others will be coming back into town this week, and I am sure it is going to start all over again.
Have fun with the rest of your trip, and guys when he meets up with you, beware, you may have a laugh or two.

Glen, I was having lunch in a park in Golden Co. today when a guy walked past and asked me if I was the guy from the festival.
Sorry I cannot post photos just yet, I'm borrowing a computer.

Graham,
I kept noticing this guy looking at me and I knew that I recognized him, just couldn't remember where. He pulled out his flask (15year old Glenlivit) and then it came to me I asked if he was from Melbourne he said "oh yeah you are friends of the guy from Tasmania." Had another little bit of that good tasting stuff, we had some more great conversation.
