    Eeee

    Thanks Dred,

I'm an American 4E too. Some shoe sales folks act like D is a wide shoe...nooo it ain't.

Guess we'll keep looking. Maybe we can get New Balance to do a Ghillie

    Discrimation of wide-footed Scots...

Dred - the more I encounter your posts, the more convinced I am that we're related somehow. Either that or we're doubles. Wide feet and high arches? Too familiar, dude.

Aside from my belly the biggest challenge I have is finding interesting wide footwear. Thank God for New Balance and other enlightened manufacturers. The folks with whom I've chatted at Piper's Cove and another gal with a highland wear shop north of me had the same response: forget about finding off-the-rack ghillie brogues (UK-made or otherwise) -- nobody makes them in our widths.

    Which I find really discriminatory...

Guess I need to see if the shoe-alteration path is valid.

I'm a 4E, too, and I'm thinking Rockports or sandals will have to do if no Ghillies are to be found.

I made a post in the off topic section with your pic, Rob's pic, and my pic. We all look remarkably similar in various various ways. You should take a look.
