That's something I NEVER discuss, Glen, living with a Florida Panthers fan! :mrgreen:

Needless to say we were on "opposite sides" in the Cup playoffs last year! ;)

Finally! It was a LONG winter with no Blackhawks hockey to watch.

A few years back, I installed a C band satellite system in my home. Woo-hoo, I watched hockey all the time. I even got hooked on collegiate hockey and always enjoyed watching the Beanpot every season. And Saturday nights? Tune in an Anik bird, because it was Hockey Night in Canada. i sure wish there was a way to be able to get CBC programming on my digital dish.

Does Don "Sartorial Splendor" Cherry still do HNiC shows?

OK I am going to be a name dropper here. Several years ago, I was looking for a new easy chair. Went to this one place sat down to test drive one of them when this guy sat in the chair next to the one I was in. None other than Joe Sakic.

I had somebody (from Canada) tell me I would make a great hockey player... I am a huge lumbering behemoth... But there is one problem. I can not ice skate. I never could.

I like to watch hockey. Some times. It's about the only sport I will watch. Football, baseball, etc, all a bunch of Nancy boys. I don't consider them sports, but games. Now, running with (from) the bulls, hockey, stuff like that, those are sports.

I should start going to Greenville Growl games.

I would imagine it is even harder to get the ponds and lakes in Florida to freeze over than it is here in Virginia.
