Museum replicas
Anybody seen one of these in person? For the price, my initial reaction is VERY wary...and the tartan selection is virtually nil...
Would this be a good alternative to Stillwater Economy for a cheap wear-around-the-house-when-nobody-is-around-but-the-wife-and-she-understands type kilt, or would a towel be a better option?

A friend of mine got a dress from them, (a 'coterie' dress of some sort?) and said it was okay, but was more like a Halloween costume than everyday wear- it looked a little cheap.

Everything I've ever seen from Museum Replicas is costume-ready, but I wouldn't expect it to last too long. This goes for weapons, clothing, etc. I can't imagine that this kilt would be any different.

I've bought a few things from them, both weapons and clothes, and almost everything I've gotten has given me the impression of being "stage costume" quality, meaning decent looking from a distance but somewhat cheap looking up close.
