Weekend Hike

What a perfect day, the air was still, hardly a sound to be heard. Warm, but not hot, a lovely winters' day.

My last decent hike was in the Rockies, it was good to be on home turf.
We did a three hour walk to Doone Falls then along the beach, over a hill and back to the car.

No doubt the peak of the hill in the background sports a spectacular view...You would've found me catnapping on that peak or the beach after a good long hike if my fiance and I had been able to jaunt along (although she probably would've collapsed somewhere, maybe on a bench, with a diet coke and a smoke). ;)

Great shot! I know that it had been awhile since you hiked, how did your legs hold out?

I'm still getting over my last hike last weekend I'll get some pictures up about that soon .

My legs were fine glen, but I put a bit of weight on while I was away, I'll have to get rid of it before my kilts shrink.
