The problem is with the LoTR stuff, the general public doesn't always know how to speak it or say it. Which can be bad. But it is a source of good ideas.

With your frequent reference to things dwarvish, perhaps something based on the dwarvish silver, Mithral <sp>.

My other idea is just way to obvious...Dread's Family Jewels.

I do have an idea for a business logo.

The Scots flag, the Saint Andrew's Cross. Only instead of an "X" have to mallet style hammers crossed. I think it's a great logo, would need to find a way to create it or find somebody to do it for me. And I would need a name.

Of course, still open to logo ideas too. But I do very much like the concept of the crossed hammers. Somehow, it strikes me as being a very proper and humble tribute.

Funny, that's what I thought about Sidhe. I don't know what it is or how to pronounce it. Company names should be easy to say and easy to remember.

what about including the word Celtic? I know it's often used, but it sends a clear message as to the style of your work (if indeed that doea describe it).

I find that odd with your fae logo. Sidhe, pronounced Shee, are the faerie folk of Celtic lore. :-D

How about Skelly Sumph's Silverworks? Taken from a recent forum post. It struck me as being both clever, funny, and even memorable.

    Input?

I used to do this sort of thing before I went to Seminary, so take this for what it's worth. I could probably write an epistle on why, but here it is...

The best one I've seen so far is Dreadbelly Metalworks.

It says who YOU are, what your business does or is about, is short and different enough to be memorable.

I did logos and brand ID for years. You would be hard pressed to improve on that. The logo, of course, is important, but you were asking for the name.

    That's my two cents.
