Quite the opposite really, BDUs are quite comfortable...We tend to keep a stiff upper lip. Try asking Jerry at What Price Glory about the webbing pieces you're looking for.

...so if you tried the period up to '40, i.e. Dunkirk, could you wear a kilt? Was the original group, the ones you're reenacting, attached to the BEF?
