David,
From what everyone else has said I would like to add Pittsburgh Kilts. That too is another option. I don't have all those mentioned yet, but they are on my list.

Utilikilts will be at the Cincinnati celtic festival Sept 24-25, you could see one in person. Pittsburgh kilts are great too.

One of each David, One of each.
And add AmeriKilts to your list. You can't go wrong if you get a UK, FK, PK, AK, SK, and USAK....
And, you'll need hangars....;)

David,
I recommend a Casual kilt from USA Kilts. It has perma-pleating for low maintenance. The pv material is teflon coated to resist stains and is available in several tartans. Size isn't a problem because it will be custom made for you.
My USA Kilt's Casual (in Scottish National tartan) looks good and is a joy to wear.

UUGH!
So many choices!
If I go tarten, I would like a red Cameron. But, I'm trying hard to embrace a solid, or maybe a camo.
Arrogcow, I will put Cinci on the calendar, first beer is on you!
Is there any comparison of the options already done? Material, closure type, price etc? Maybe that's a good project for tonight after the dove shoot.
Thinking about showing up in my new MacDonald.

You make that sound like a BAD thing.
I am with you when it comes to the solid kilt. It's still something I am trying to embrace. I'm not quite there yet.

You want to buy some testosterone... then don't forget to look at R-Kilts ... our own Robert Pell. He makes a pretty serious kilt and uses the most bad-a$$ leather and hardware I've ever seen on a kilt.
good hunting,

I'll second that, Blu!
Although I have five amazing leather kilts from three other kiltmakers, the one R-Kilt I own is just something else!
