    Scary

Got the same catalog today with the same insert. Very short on specifics, like who makes Practikilt, where they are made, what its made of...never heard of Lotus.

The catalog also offers what seems to be plaid, not tartan, kilts in two colors for $38 USD. Same size range s,m,l,xl. Again no maker, no location, no fabric information other than dry clean only. Amazing that people attempt to sell garments without indicating what fabric they are made from....

Whole catalog is like that...a lot of stuff with pics but little specifics...and one size fits all garments...(they gotta be kidding)....

Think I'll pass on this whole catalog. Thought I'd seen something about Practikilts but nothing comes up on a search exept this thread...maybe on another board.

I suppose they could have called the product "Kopykilt" or "Duplikilt" or "Klonekilt". Difficult to tell what they're like from the poor photos provided.

That picture is hilarious. If I saw it outside the catalog I would have thought it was a page from a gay club or leather fetish catalog. Who would have thought Museum Replicas was going to move into the gay leather market. Whats next, harnesses?

They do seem to be moving more into leather than in the past. ;)

I was looking at the photos, the black twill and leather in paricular showed serious snap puckers. If these are their display models, I'd hate to think how bad the quality control is on the ones they ship!

I was also dissapointed they do not offer lengths as I need a long at 6'2" and I agree, a photo of the back would be really nice! I can't tell how it opens.. where is the closure? WHat type of closure do they use? I'll pass.

I'd been trying to get to their website for a couple of days and finally got on and got a look at what they're offering.

It's obviously a cheap knockoff of the Utilikilt, but at that price it could be what will get a lot of guys into their first kilt.

I was going to go back to the website for more information, but I can't get in again. Their website seems to be kinda flaky -- I'm sure if that's a good or bad thing.
