    I'm with Blu.

When I'm bumming around the house, I'm either in my robe (in the morning) or I wear loose shorts. If I'm leaving the house, then I change.

(Oh, and I'm not one of the 24/7 guys; I wear kilts maybe about twice a week or so.)

If you want a cheap knock around kilt find some cheap poly blend fabric and make one. It isn't that tough and you can find the stuff either on line or in a decent fabric store for $5 to $6 a yard.

Me, just to be different, if I'm bumming around its probably in a pair of briefs.
Once I'm up, it is probably into the kilt and a short sleeve shirt, ankle socks and shoues and that is me ready for out.
Your problem is that unlike me, i'm living in Scotland and I was a kilt wearing child from the early years.
Three kilts to choose from, one is too long and is 50 years old, the second is lovely at 30years age and the latest is one year old and it is too youg.
