It looks fantastic, Ranald. Dare I say, beautiful?

You'll look quite dapper in that kilt, no doubt.

Ranald, I have to add my own compliments. I like the fabric and the construction looks good.

Thanks guys and gals, the kilt took nearly a week to put together and was done in my spare time in between the school run for the kids.
Alan going public-One of my kids won't let me take them to school wearing my kilts so going public probably won't happen 'til the weekend.
Kilted code warrior- construction of the kilt was not too much of a problem and I did this without Barb T's book which I'm still waiting for,I can't wait.
Brasilkilt-Linsay tartan, to be honest I have no idea what it is, I liked it I could afford it so away I went. I don't know if Linsay comes in more than one tartan but the one I know is a dark red and dark green , which I particually like as this was the tartan on my bagpipe bag which I grew up with.
Once again thanks for the kind words I know the kilt is not perfection but the more you do something the better you get.The next kilt will be a solid grey made from coating material and is rather heavy but will be just the job for our winters over here in the UK.
