indeed. of course celebrity has it's advantages. it could well be the same model and he got an advanced version. I don't see the pockets on the side so his could be a prototype...either way he needs to find a better version...

No, I 'borrowed' that photo from their website a short while ago.
I knew it was a long shot, but I'd not seen that picture on their site. Oh well.
And yes, from the other pictures that I have seen, I'm not impressed either, but if someone had an in-person impression, I'd be willing to listen.

Actually, Fillon's kilt DOES have pockets. If you zoom in on the image, one can be clearly seen on his left side - the top of the pocket is hidden by that ghastly jacket though!
(PS: I thought you were in Cumbria!!!!)

well your eyes are better than mine! LOL should be wearing my glasses I presume. and Indeed I am working and living in Cumbria, but I have my flat here in the states. I come back here for a week every couple of months for time off, keep my affairs in order and so I don't need a work visa. I head back to the UK on friday, and will land sat AM, and spend the weekend recovering from Jet Lag. LOL
Ok sorry for the quick highjack, back on topic...

A difficult website to navigate. Only way I found the Practikilts on the Museum Replicas webpage was to put that name in the search engine.
Wondering why NONE of their kilt pics show the backside of a kilt. Kinda looks like they take gathers along the waistline in front.
The black leather kilt is $379 guessing plus shipping, but they don't say what kind of leather its made out of, are there any back pockets, who makes it, where, what's the length of the kilt for the sizes given, what's the belt loop size. There's nothing in any of the pictures to indicate relative size. We could be looking at Barbie kilts.
Looks like on the leather kilt pic there's also a snap on the apron at the waist under the belt loop.
The pic of the black cotton kilt shows the snaps are misplaced so as to wrinkle the apron...and they use that as an example of their product.
I do like how they call my 41" waist "large" instead of extra large....
Can't think of a single reason to spend $379 plus shipping with a kiltmaker who provides so little information about their product. For a bit more, and an assurance of quality I'll get my next leather kilt from Robert at RKilts...and have a choice of colors!
At least they're recognizing there is a solid kilt market...even if they're trying to appeal to the less knowledgeable and gullible.
