Guests on Forum

I'm not sure where to put this thread. It's probably a bit off topic, but I understand tha tnon-members can't access the off topic section of the forum. I guess it is a commenr and I'll end it with a suggestion, so maybe it does belong here. Anyhow, why isit that everytime I log on to the forum and look at the stats, I see something like:

" 24 viewing, 7 members and 17 guests"

It always seems like nearly 3 times as many guests as there are members.
I'd like to suggest that the guests sign up and become members. Like Hank says on the home page, you don't have to be celtic or even own a kilt yet, just have an interest in them. None of the members are going to bite you or anything.

I suspect that while some (like me) stay logged in, many of our members actually log out, and only log in if they are replying to messages.

Jerry, I know that Hank has been busy with trying to optimize this site with the various search engines. When the search engine bots crawl the site, they appear as guests. That is what a lot of the guest activity amounts to.
