LOL. Al, I have no interest in what you post in private, why are you so concerned about what anybody else might be posting in private? You've been deceived and so now you are going to come here and start making accusations? You'd do well to obtain all the facts about a subject before trying to pass yourself of as an expert on that subject.

Here, if we're telling a story, let's make it a true one. If Dread has told you that he could not post on this forum, he should have started the story with "Once upon a time..." and finished it with "...and they lived happily ever after."
Dread does have posting privileges, albeit limited, as has been mentioned. It has been decided that his posts would have to be approved, on a post-by-post basis. It came down to only two options - moderate his posts or simply delete his account entirely. The decision was made to allow him to post. When he submits a post, the post does not appear on the open forum, it is placed in a moderation queue. The forum staff then can review what Dread is trying to submit and determine whether to allow the post as-is, to edit inappropriate material before allowing it or to simply delete the post entirely.
I participate on forums that are fully moderated, so that every message by every member must undergo moderation prior to being available on the open forum, so moderation is not all that unusual. Many forums will force users under the age of thirteen to have messages moderated, until parental permission has been received. So Dread was not on a deserted island, all alone.

If that is what you've been told, you've been lied to.
Perhaps Dread would have done well to have checked his posting status on this forum before setting off on his mission of filling your Inbox with deceptions and filling mine with his cursing, vitriolic invective.
HERE is an example of a message that required moderation. This was the first message that Dread submitted that required validation. Some sensitive comments were removed from that message and the message was then validated for posting on the forum. I was the moderator that did the editing and the validating on that message.
Dread did, in fact, submit a post with the above images in it. That post was denied and never appeared on the open forum as a result. I am not aware of who it was that denied/deleted the post. I marked it ignored and left it in the queue.
Since that message was denied/deleted, my thought is that it was deemed inappropriate for publication on the forum. And so Dread, realizing his post had been denied/deleted, circumvented his moderation status by getting Al to submit the post for him. But remember, Al, Dread is on the up and up and it is that "select few people here" that are being under-handed.
And now we have Al, obviously not in possession of any of the real facts of the issue, who has been conned into posting previously determined inappropriate material and making derogatory comments about the forum staff as he does it.
Fact - Dread has submitted a total of two posts for moderation. One in the Tech section and the second with the images that Al has posted. He has made no further attempts to post anything to this forum.
In all honesty, I fail to see how Al's actions are going to help get Dread's posting privileges restored to an unmoderated status. My guess is that it really did him no favor at all. Dread was well aware that he was in control of his own destiny and as a result, he needed no "defence". His decision to have others help him circumvent the limitations imposed on him is more evidence of the behavior that landed those limitations in his lap in the first place.
Now, are we back to posting about kilts, or are we going to continue aggravating a festering sore?

Hi Dread, how's tricks?
It appears that you forgot me mentioning that we log I.P. addresses, eh?
Hank may or may not have been out of town, but wherever Hank was, he still had access to a computer, because he was not only in contact with us, but was also in control of his own forum.
Further messages submitted by Majestic Moose will require moderation. And after his inital post, too.
And since I am really growing tired of playing this silly game, this thread is being locked.
