My first kilt is a SK. I am very satisfied with it. It was good choice to have as the first because of the relativley low price. The DHL delivery to Finland costed a bit too much though. I think i will start to look for a USA Kilts semi-traditional next...

Hey me too. I'm in jones mode for a USA Kilt semi-traditional in Thomson Gray...my first USA Kilt. Expect it to arrive sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving....maybe.....please God....
Looking forward to getting a look at one of them. See how the material compares to the SportKilt....the material, not the kilt...the material...

I can't find any pics of the tartaned Sport Kilts, with a rear view to show the pleats, but this is the "Boulder", copied from the Sport Kilt website.

After Washing
That looks nicer than the early shots I remember...
For the tartan pics check the SportKilt gallery...think its called Wall of Honor or something like that. Have a few pics in my personal gallery too. Link is below.
Washed up the new SportKilt last night, gentle cycle, just a dab of detergent.
Took four hangers to hang it out on the shower rod. Used weighted clips on the pleats, inside and outside pleats. Let it hang dry overnight.
Came out fine. Some of the pleats sort of rounded on the crease a bit, probably will touch up iron it before wearing...something I haven't done in a long time with other kilts...but this poly kilt stuff is pretty new for me....didn't have to worry about the old SportKilts since they were gathered rather than pleated.

Ron, I did check out "the Wall of Fame", but I couldn't find any shots which showed clearly where the pleats started. If I had I would have edited the pic to show only the kilt and posted it.. Sportkilt should include front, side and rear views of all of their kilts, so everyone could get a better look at them when looking to order.

New Style SportKilt Pics
Okay, finally got some pics of my new style Black Stuart SportKilt. Ordered it up with sewn down pleats, belt loops, and custom length.
Much different than the two SportKilts I bought last year with gathers instead of pleats.
Pics are on the bottom of Page 5 of my gallery, link is below.

Ron,
Nice looking kilt. I just ordered a Black Stewart SWK. The Thompson Grey USA sure looks sharp too. Rocky did a bang-up job. You aren't trying to catch up to Hamish, are you?

Hey Dale, let us know how the SWK is. I chose the SportKilt over that for the material, and the custom length options.
Ham's in no danger for me. I'm only up to 27 kilts with the X Marks tank on the way from Kathy Lare at Kathy's Kilts.
Think Ham has over 30 more than that...

Just curious Ron, how does it compare to your other Sportkilts?

Hey Glen,
Message #4 of this thread on the first page has it. A lot better this way...but cost more too.
