My concern is that they have loads of EBAY ids, and when it gets weighed down with negative feedback they switch ids, the negative feedback always refers to slow shipping and not answering emails/ not interested in changing items once the item has been sold.
Like I say I have my reasons for not buying from them which I would not be prepared to post.
however if anyone is interested in my experiences they may PM me and I will elabourate.

Daz, you have an advantage that we do not have, proximity. We can only do internet research and ask questions on a board like this.
My fuzzy memory is that I delt with The Scotland Shop initially. I was told that they were revamping from three seperate business' with three different sites to one face although still accessable from any prior site. Heritage of Scotland becoming the primary site instead of being one of three. The third was Gold Brothers something. My dealings have been professional & prompt.
I collected 250 or so first edition or collector books from ebay, with only one seller being a problem. I learned who to avoid before doing business with anyone. So finding a business on ebay does not necessarily make them bad.
That said, I accept you warning.
Who, in you estimation are the preferred vendors to deal with for a heavy 5-8 yard kilt?
Thanks
David

I like willie at
www.northofstandrews.com
and Dr. John
Chalmers at advance highland
Both are Scots, and the stuff they sell is good quality and will bend over backwards to assist.

tank pictures
David,
You don't happen to have any pictures of the tank you got from them do you. If not could you e-mail them to me at possinger @ linuxkeith . com
(take out spaces). Thank you so much
This is the first place I have ever seen that I can order a kilt in US Bicentenial and not have to special order the fabric driving up the price. For around $300, I would love a US Bicentenial kilt.
Thanks
