    Well done Scottishkilts.com!

I'm so excited, my tweed jacket, waistcoat, kiltpin and matching hose arrived today!

I have to hand it to Scottishkilts for service! The jacket was off the shelf and in stock, they shipped it the day I ordered it.

The jacket is really smart, a perfect fit, I love the colour too.
My concerns about it being too hot for a summer wedding were unfounded since the cloth is quite light.
As Blu once said, I'll be wearing it more often than I imagined.

As soon as I can I'll post some piccies.

    Graham,

Who would have thought that you would be donning a Tweed Jacket? It sounds wonderful, just waiting for the picture now and especially from the wedding!

Because of your post Graham, I looked up scottishkilts.net and checked out their stock. Long story short, I ordered the same jacket/waistcoat combo as you did on the 14th of October, received a "confirmation of order" e-mail on the 17th, and this evening I went to the post office to pick up my express mail package (the 25th). Not too shabby for turn around time from the UK!! Also, a suprisingly good fit off the rack (I'm a 50 long)-I doubt I'll have it altered. Pictures will follow as time permits.

Bryan...thumbs up to Scottishkilts & Graham...

I'm very pleased to hear that Bryan, you'll look as sharp as me now
It's a lovely jacket and the waistcoat will be good to wear on it's own for more casual.

That is impressive Bryan. Sure makes kilting a lot harder when we have all these great options!

Glad to hear more people are finally noticing Scottishkilts.net and their fine selection. I have been praising them since March when I first got the same jacket and waistcoat. I guess we all just need the "Grand Defender's" opinion first.....

Scottishkilts.net is a good company. I started recommending them over a year and a half ago when I bought a kilt from them. Prices are reasonable and the quality is very good. One other nice thing is they ship to the US through a parent corporation so often you don't get clobbered by duty charges.

I remember that. Your review and a review and correspondence with Alaskan on another site are what lead me to check them out. They will be making my next kilt without a doubt.

Nothing personal Colin: I just joined the list at the end of August! Still, you must take a certain amount of pleasure realizing that once again, you've led the charge from the front.

Bryan...firmly in the vanguard it seems...
