			Thank you for the pictures

Thank you so much for the pictures, it really helps making a decision on them to hear from someone who has actually ordered from them.
Now to save up enough for the 5 or 8 yard US Bicentenial 13 oz kilt.

Any one have an opinion if 5 yard 13 oz wool will be warm and hang correctly?

Very nice, David. What is the tartan you're wearing?
Bryan...kinda looks like Lady Borodale's Gift ( a clan Donald pattern)...

Good look David, I also like the large sett of the tartan. District tartans make a lot of sense especially when you have several ancestral families to honor.
BTW, you didn't tell us how much you won at the races.

Me too!...just gotta let the plastic cool off some. Kathy Lare at Kathy's Kilts has spoiled me though. Checked out the website for your kilt and it looks like sort of an association of different suppliers. Do you know who actually did the sewing for your great looking kilt? Sorry, I missed the other thread.
I used to live in Lexington, KY back in 1965...a long long time ago...probably already said that on a post. Lovely place.

Well David, the ensemble worked well, very well, and I am glad you had a great day out.
Just one thing though - this is me nit-picking again - I think I would have opted for a rather less 'busy' tie! The colour is good, in that it draws the least obvious colour in the kilt, as do your flashes, but because of its pattern it dominates the entire outfit and, to my mind, clashes with the kilt. For the very best effect, with a tartan kilt keep everything else plain and simple - let the tartan shine!!

 Score? 9/10! ;)

			 I agree with Hamish

Hamish has offered valuable advice. I just got back from teaching portrait photography to my college students and clothing was one of the subjects. Next time I teach it, I'll mention the tie and the kilt conflict, and see what they do with that.
