Actually, Erie County PA has as bad or worse winters than Buffalo; Buffalo just gets more exposure ... in the media, that is. Wouldn't have had to add that last part it this wasn't a kilt board.
But since there are already plans for a Buffalo Kilt Night , why don't you all come up, over, or down here? According to Weather.com the average low is 24 F/-4 C. Not that cold, I know, but it's a start - and there's always the possibilty of wind chill (a concept originated by a native of Erie, PA, BTW).
