John, I saw a link to them on another post and checked out their on-line store. Looks good and when we are in FL for the holidays, definitely on my list. Since we still have friends, and a house, in Tampa, it will be one of our stops. Are they actually located in Dunedin? Our house is in Oldsmar, which is right down the road from Dunedin. Have to go check out there site again for an address. Good idea about trying on a tank there.

KCW,
I do not believe the shop is actually in Dunedin, but I don't know my way around Tampa all that well. I just took there map off their site and called them when I got lost. It's in a warehouse type building and we past it up at first. They talked us into the parking lot while we were on the cell phone. Very nice people and if I remember right pretty good prices on kilts that were on the rack. I wasn't really looking to buy kilts back then for me just the girls dance stuff.

ps. about the Chicago Guinness night. I probly wouldn't go to that, I hate going to Chicago. I will be in Chicago for the St. Andrews Society Burns dinner I believe Nov. 19th. at the Drake Hotel. My girls will be dancing as part of the evenings entertainment.

KCW,
I think they are over on the East side of Tampa right off of I-4, there was a map of the location on their website.

KCW,
Sorry but it's not a Burns Dinner it's 160th Anniversary Dinner "Feast of the Haggis". It is on Nov. 19th.

It is a St. Andrew's Day observance. St Andrew's Day is the following week. (I think)

JohnL and Cawdorian,
Thanks for the info. I just checked them out and they are on the east side, off I-4 (I-10 is in the north part of the state), and looks like the are pretty close to the fairgrounds. Which is great because that means we will go righ bby them on our way into town from the east coast and on the way out (DW's parents live on the east coast of FL).
JohnL, is the Feast of the Haggis event invitation only? Would be interested in attending (subject to my wife's permission! )

KCW,
No it's not an invitation only event, but the tickets are $160.00 per person.
If you want more information look on the Chicago St. Andrews Society web site. It's a Formal Kilt / Black Tie affair at the Drake Hotel. They will also be having a Pub Crawl in April to go along with Tartan week. From what I've heard it's a pretty good time.

KCW,
You are indeed correct, it has been about 12 years since I lived in the Tampa Bay area.
Sorry for the bum directions.

JohnL and Cawdorian, thanks again. Probably won't be able to attend the Feast of the Haggis anniversary as it would be a little pricy right now. 2 adults at $160 each, plus babysitter for the kids adds up to a pretty expensive evening. Maybe next year.
